If there’s one iconic TV series that captured the attention and massively influenced people’s lives, it’s “Friends.” You get to meet and relate with Ross and Rachel’s long and messy love story, Joey’s love for pizza, Phoebe’s quirks, Monica’s OCD, and Chandler’s sarcastic humor. But one of the unexpected but incredible additions to the plot is Monica and Chandler’s relationship. And here are 14 Friends episodes that best show it.
1. The One With the Birth

Episode Aired: May 11, 1995
In this episode, Carol goes into labor and Monica feels envious of the women with babies. She’s wondering how they can have it easy when she can’t even have a steady relationship. Chandler told her that when they’re 40 and still single, they can just be together. This took a hilariously dark turn when Monica asked why he thinks she’d still be single at 40.
This is one of the episodes that show Monica and Chandler’s solid friendship before they became a couple.
2. The One With Phoebe’s Husband
Season/Episode: Season 2, Episode 4
Episode Aired: October 12, 1995
In this episode, it was revealed that Chandler and Monica have secrets about each other that the others in the gang don’t know. They were just funny secrets about a third nipple and underwear hanging on the wire but still, you wouldn’t expect them to be able to keep these secrets about each other for a long time. And yes, without even Chandler telling Joey!
3. The One at the Beach
