14 Celebrities Who Really, Really Hate Donald Trump

Donald Trump was the 45th leader of the United States. Some folks don’t like him, and it’s not just because he was President. Even though he has strong supporters, his ideas and rules caused arguments, and some famous people don’t like him.

Here are 14 celebrities who are vocal about their criticism of Donald Trump. 

1. George Clooney

George Clooney hated Trump’s guts. He has always been active in political and economic efforts, being a Messenger of Peace for the United Nations.

He believes that Trump is over in his head and not capable of his elected position and believes that the press has done a good job in its checks and balances. 

2. Pharell Williams

From his hit song “Happy,” you would think that Pharell Williams is a happy-go-lucky guy who’s down for everything. It seems he makes an exception for Trump, especially when the former president used his song in rallies that Pharell didn’t believe in, like the one he held for the Pittsburgh Synagogue shooting.

And yes, he even threatened to sue. 

3. Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel is the long-time host of late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! And in his monologues, he never minced his words when making fun of Trump’s choices and political decisions.

He particularly hated it when Trump puts his name on everything, including his buildings and even vodka. He also claims that Trump keeps on signing documents he barely understands, but it’s not surprising since he can’t even differentiate Melania and Ivanka Trump. That’s just disturbing.

Cher is the Goddess of Pop, and she is known for being bold and unrepentant in his opinions and choices. She is also a philanthropist who is not scared to say what she thinks.

In 2017, at the New York City United We Stand Rally, she called Trump arrogant and ignorant. She added that everyone needs to never give up and get together as one to stop the people in power who don’t do anything but cause sadness and depression.

Elton John is a proud gray man, which is the entire opposite of Trump’s traditional beliefs.

Popular for his legendary music, he didn’t like the idea that Trump used his songs Tiny Dancer and Rocket Man at his rallies. Elton John didn’t push the issue since he also believed that it was not his place to be involved in American politics, being a Brit.

A legend in the movie industry, Meryl Streep is an icon, and her words are often taken like a gospel.

In one of her speeches, she pinpointed the moment when Trump imitated a disabled reporter and condemned it as something that stunned her. She believes that when someone in a higher position uses their power and popularity to bully other people, everyone loses.

Drake is a Canadian singer and songwriter who made a name for himself through his music.

While he had no say in the presidential election in the United States, he made a statement in his concert when he said that Trump’s re-election could never tear the world apart. He added that all people had to do was keep it together.

Matt Damon made his hate obvious early in the 2016 election when he showed his disbelief that Trump could be the president. This was when Damon thought he was impulsive and didn’t even think deeply about things.

Rihanna is known for being an outspoken woman, and she also doesn’t hide the fact that she’s a Democrat and doesn’t like Trump at all. This she announced on her social media.

Similar to Pharell, she didn’t appreciate when Trump played her song Don’t Stop the Music in his 2018 rallies and even got her legal team to look into it.

Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man in essence, and like his fictional superhero character, he is honest and straightforward with his opinions.

He called Trump an orange muppet Hitler who likes to oppress people and their freedom in the name of his deceptive MAGA slogan.

He described him as a bully and a brat at the same time.
