When we were planning our visit to Vietnam and Alma Resort Cam Ranh invited us to stay, we jumped at the opportunity. Alma Resort features a broad spectrum of restaurants helmed by top chefs, a food court with an array of local and international cuisine, and a classical bar, pool bar, and beach bar.
Other highlights include 12 swimming pools cascading down to the beach, a waterpark, a 13-treatment room spa, 70-seat cinema, a convention center, an open-air theater, a science museum, a gymnasium, yoga room, an 18-hole minigolf course, a youth center with virtual reality games, a kidโs club, watersports center, a sustainable farm, and even a mini supermarket.

The views from the Alma Resort in Cam Ranh blew us away. You can see how big the property is and enjoy the mountains on one side and the beach on the other side.
We received a warm welcome; everyone at the desk and throughout the resort was incredibly friendly and eager to assist.

โA Journey Through Local Culture and Cuisineโ
Join us for an exciting cooking class and cultural experience called โA Journey Through Culture and Cuisine.โ We went to a local market, Chแปฃ Cam ฤแปฉc, where we bought fresh ingredients and tried tasty snacks.
We also visited a traditional mango farm to learn about different types of mangoes and the importance of mango farming in the region, including trying fresh mango, dried mango, and mango tea. We returned to Alma for a fun cooking class with their professional chef. We learned how to make traditional Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed the meal we created for lunch.
The Story of the Chรนa ฤรก Quan รm Temple
During our visit to Cam Lam, we also stopped at the Chรนa ฤรก Quan รm Temple, a unique cobblestone temple. The temple is possibly the only one of its kind in Vietnam and the world.
The first-floor construction is done entirely by the monk, by hand, as he didnโt have the means to let it be built. Its construction showcases the dedication and craftsmanship of the monk who created it. The temple is a symbol of the rich cultural heritage and spirituality of the region. The Cam Lam Temple serves as a reminder of the power of faith, resilience, and the enduring legacy of those who dedicate themselves to a higher purpose.

The Ocean View Suite: You’ll stay in a spacious one-bedroom suite with a great view of Long Beach and the ocean. It has a big balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The suite has a comfortable bedroom, a nice bathroom, and a large living area.
The Ocean View Pool Pavilion One Bedroom Ground Floor: Your special pavilion also has an ocean view and comes with its private pool, terrace, and sunbed. You’ll have a lovely bedroom with a luxurious bathroom, a cozy living room, a kitchen, and a dining area.
A Lovely Floating Breakfast
Start your day with a floating breakfast tray filled with delicious food like fresh fruit, pastries, waffles, pancakes, and more. You can, of course, also add some Vietnamese coffee to it.
Enjoy breakfast by your villa pool or at one of the resort’s swimming pools. You can choose between a Vietnamese or international breakfast to always get what you enjoy.
The Kidsโ Club
The Alma Kids’ Club is a fun place for kids under 10 years old. There are trampolines, ball pens, climbing frames, and even an arts and crafts area where you can make cool stuff. Their friendly and qualified caregivers always watch over your little ones.
While your kids are having a great time, you can relax by the pool or do a date night. There are many games, singing and dancing lessons, cooking activities, and even team games to play with new friends. Right next to the Kids’ Club, there’s a special pool just for kids with fountains and water games.
Splash Water Park
Kids of all ages looking to get their toes wet will love Splash Water Park. They have a complete waterpark at the resort, featuring slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and more. Fun for the entire family; you donโt need to leave the resort.ย
You can even get a buggy to bring you there and pick you up from there, so there really is no reason not to check it out while you are there.
Organic Gardens Are the Future
Alma has its own gardens and chicken farm to provide fresh food to its restaurants. The herb gardens have mustard leaves, chili peppers, basil, and more. The nursery garden has bananas, coconuts, papaya, and flowers.
On top of that, they also have a chicken farm with hens, roosters, and chicks. The kitchen staff uses the garden produce in salads, and guests can enjoy eggs and bananas for breakfast. Alma offers garden tours and cooking classes too.
